Today after my podiatrist appointment, we got to see some friends from our old gym! We miss them very much, although we much prefer our new club. I dropped Alison off at their house before my appointment and then called when I was finished so they could meet me at Ruby Tuesdays for lunch. Ari(to the right) was my daughter’s best friend at our former gym; she can be bossy, but has such a good heart and work ethic. Lee Ann, her mom, drove me crazy when I first met her because she’s very forceful and opinionated. I soon discovered, though, that she has a heart of pure gold and she has since become a good friend. I am so thrilled that we carved out some time to see each other; we had a great conversation and a delicious lunch. Yesterday evening, another ex-gym friend, Regina, and I had drinks and snacks at the Ram. I used to think I was TOO busy for girlfriends, but I now realize how short-sighted that was and how much I enjoy spending time with my women buddies. You are all so special, ladies!!
